This 4-week dance session will follow Horton technique. Fundamentals will cover flat backs, primitive squat, lateral stretches, release swings, leg swings, deep lunges, and T positions to stretch and strengthen different areas of the body, including focus on the abdominal muscles, and movements that lengthen the spine and the hamstring muscles. Across the floor and center combination will finish out the class.

Prior dance experience recommended.

Instructor: Liz Mallon
Liz has been a Fitness Instructor and Trainer, Dancer, Choreographer, Alvin Ailey Scholarship Recipient, and fomer Hip-Hop presenter with over 25 years of expeience in the dance and fitness field. She is ACE Gold Certified and has a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. Her additional training and certifications include: Stott Pilates Mat/Reformer Certification, Kettlebells Level 1, and Kinesis.
