What is Kinesis? 

In Greek, "Kinesis" means movement. Kinesis is a functional fitness strength training system done in a small group setting that takes you through all planes and ranges of motion without compromise to resistance. It is integrated movements of balance, core strength and flexibility.


How does it work? Kinesis works on a closed loop cable system as opposed to a standard weight stack anchored at one end. Your body will respond to three-dimensional and 360 degree conditioning that will improve your athletic performance and regular daily activities. An additional advantage is that it burns 30% more calories than traditional equipment training. Sessions last 30 or 50 minutes, and include a circuit of five or six stations.

Procedures:

  • Payment at the Service Desk is required at time of booking.
  • A 24-hour cancellation call to the Service Desk is also required to avoid being billed for training.
  • Sessions with one or no registrants may be cancelled 24 hours before training.
  • All non-promotional packages expire one year from date of purchase.
  • Please check in at the Service Desk before your session.
