Sarah Benishchek, Sports Director

Sarah Benischek | Sports Director | Club Fit Briarcliff  Sarah coached four years of varsity basketball and volleyball at Somers High School. Prior to that, she coached Collegiate Women’s Basketball at Manhattanville College, in Purchase, NY. In her playing career, Sarah was a 4-year starter and 2-year captain at Merrimack College, as well as a strength and conditioning All-American. Before graduating from college, she was an All-Section athlete at Lakeland High School, playing volleyball, basketball and softball. In her senior season at Lakeland, Sarah led the Hornets to a 27-0 season, winning the state championship. She was then named to the All-State team. Sarah is the Sports Director and Camp Director at Club Fit Briarcliff, and a certified personal trainer.

Patrick Campbell, Basketball & Gymnastics
  Hailing from Peekskill, NY, it’s the 6’0” Point Guard with a 2007 Basketball State Championship (Peekskill High School)  — Patrick Campbell. At the young age of 14, Patrick started teaching sports, focusing on basketball skills and drills. He has been a coach as well as a referee, enabling him to see many sides of the game. He has an extensive background in working with children that focuses in on developing sports skills, gymnastics, and physical training. He enjoys teaching kids about fitness, with a fun and confidence-building approach.
Mick Carey, Basketball
Coach Mick Carey | Basketball | Club Fit Briarcliff  Coach Mick has 10 years of Collegiate coaching experience at both the Dl JUCO level and Dll NCAA level. A native of Westchester County, he began his coaching career at Westchester Community College in 2007, as an assistant coach, producing one NJCAA Dl All American, eight All-Region players, back to back Mid-Hudson Conference Championships. Eight student athletes continued their playing careers on scholarship. In 2010, he was promoted to Associate Head Coach. The following season, Coach Carey moved to NCAA Dll at Mercy College, where he recruited the North Atlantic region for student athletes. Mick coordinated player development programs and drills. Known as a "heck of a recruiter" he’s also a skill developer, as he has worked many basketball camps. He is a graduate of Westchester Community College and Mercy College.
Jamie Procino, Basketball
  Jamie graduated from Yorktown High School, where he was an All-League, All-Section basketball player, and an All-League baseball player. He scored over 1,000 points in his time playing basketball at Yorktown High School. From there, Jamie went to play Collegiate basketball at Cortland State and Western Connecticut. In his time at Western Connecticut, he won All-League and All-Region honors, and scored over 1,000 points there as well. After college, Coach Jamie played 3 years of Minor League Professional Basketball in the EBA, IBL and APBL. He moved onto coaching and took over the Freshmen, JV and Varsity basketball programs at Yorktown High School. In addition, he coached youth AAU teams, and elite basketball camps. Jamie is also a certified personal fitness trainer and sports performance trainer.
Nick Paganelli, Soccer
  Coach Nick played High School Soccer at Fordham Prep in the Bronx. At Fordham, he was a three-time MVP and was the leading goal scorer three of his four years. He was a three-time All League 1st Team, All-Bronx 1st Team, All-Coty 2nd Team, and received the Outstanding Athletic Award in 2007 for the class of 2010. He played 2 years of college soccer at the University of Scranton. He helped his team to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2012. For Club Soccer Coach Nick played for JBS FC, ranked #1 in NY for 2 years and #1 in the US by National Soccer Ranking and Top Drawer Soccer. Professionally, Coach Nick played for the Club Athlético Torque 2nd Division in Uruguay in 2012. For the past 6 years, Coach Nick has been coaching and training individuals from U8 to the professional level. He is also a certified personal trainer.
