The children have lunch right after they arrive, with activities to follow. Attending children have option to bring lunch or buy pizza ONLY; no other lunch options will be available. Your child or children needs to be confirmed for attendance before the day of the event. The child is allowed the additional 3 hours after the program ends, so the latest pick-up for Ossining Half-Day participants is 6:00 pm.

The child will have a day of sports, games, swimming, and crafts throughout the day. School’s Out Days participants then have the additional 3 hours for late pick-up and need to be picked up by 6:00 pm at the latest. These days require separate registration and payment.
Early Dismissals: If there is an early dismissal due to snow, OSSINING children will be bussed to Club fit since it is their primary bus stop. Since early dismissals are usually last-minute, staff may be limited so we encourage parents to pick up their children as soon as they can. Weather depending, our staff will call all parents & inform them of the latest time the child can be in the Energy Center.
Snack: Children are allowed to bring OR buy snack. You can allow your child to use the House Charge* account, which is an account linked to the account holder’s credit card. Another option is an account called e-Cash (set up is with member services) which acts as an electronic gift card that the snack gets deducted from each visit. Please do NOT send your child with cash. We ask to avoid snacks with peanuts or any nuts since there are so many allergies. *(Please inform our staff if you do NOT want your child to have access to your House Charge account.)
Activities: Please inform Melissa Lawrence or an Energy center staff member if your child is signed up for an activity after school. Swim Lessons, Swim Team, Tennis lessons, Kids Zumba, Kids Yoga, Flag Football, PDH/TFA Basketball, etc. We communicate with the activities’ staff’s to coordinate pick-up and return of the child to and from the energy center for participation.
