CFX Functional Fitness
CFX is our exclusive Free-to-Member functional fitness class. This small group class cycles through four workout models over a 10-week period to concurrently improve all functional abilities, including flexibility, core stabilization, balance, strength, power, and cardio-respiratory endurance.
Each week features a new workout within the following cycle of phases:
Stability & Mobility (2 weeks), Strength Endurance (3 weeks), Strength (3 weeks), Power (2 weeks)
You may take CFX as often as you would like throughout the week but you may only sign up for one class time slot per day.
Participants are expected to be on the turf at the start time listed on the schedule, at which the point instructor begins to review the class format and key instructions for safe participation. Once class has begun, your spot can be given to a waiting individual. If space is still available but class has begun, please wait for the instructor to invite you in at an appropriate point so as to not disrupt the class or instructor.
New participants must go through a CFX orientation and assessment prior to first time participation. Please see a Fitness Coach at the service desk to set up an appointment.
Participants are expected to follow the workout design and instruction. If more than the provided modification is needed participant may do a core activity. If many modifications are needed the instructor will provide the participant with alternate class offerings. If a participant is not following the program and instruction provided the instructor has the right to remove the individual from class participation. Not sure if CFX is right for you?
