Spring Session: March 9th – May 3rd
For children ages 6 months – 2.5 years old. A parent or caregiver is in the water for part of each class, acting as a co-instructor. The goal is to build confidence to ease the transition into independent lessons.
Students will be introduced to floating on their backs and front, jumping in unsupported and submerging. Toddlers enjoy exploring water activities that promote the development of arm and leg movements as well as breath control.
Lessons are taught in a fun-filled environment where students learn the basic techniques of swimming and safety skills are emphasized.
Make-ups must be made within the same swim session, and only two will be permitted. Make-ups are not available until the third week of the session and must be scheduled by calling (914) 250-2796.
Our Swim Diaper Policy:
We take keeping a safe and clean pool environment very seriously.
If you have any questions, please contact the Aquatics Office at (914) 250-2796 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
All members must be compliant with our policy or they will be asked to leave the pool until Finis Liners are obtained.
Lessons are taught in a fun-filled environment where students learn the basic techniques of swimming and safety skills are emphasized. Water temperature is kept between 84 – 88 degrees in the Program Pool and a little cooler at 79 – 82 degrees in the Lap Pool, an ideal for comfort.
The Aquatics Center closes for 30 minutes from the last sound of thunder or sighting of lightning, which on some days may be reoccurring. To inquire if the pool is open or if your class has been canceled due to thunder or poor road conditions, please contact the Service Desk at (914) 762-3444 for the most up-to-date information.
All participants are required to check in at the Service Desk before each class. If payment is due, please take care of it at this time before class.
