***Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic pre-registration is required and is to be done through Sarah Schum. Tryouts are $20/athlete.
Masks are required at all times inside Club Fit Briarcliff. Parents/guardians are only allowed to assist in check-in which will be at the front desk upon entering Club Fit Briarcliff. Spectators are not allowed inside the gym during the tryout.***
We will be forming teams based on skill. We try to do so within the same grade but there might be teams made up between two grades.
Tryouts will consist of a quick warm up and skill session with majority of the tryout being open runs to evaluate in game skill level.
Emails will be sent out the week of February 23rd with team designations. Practices will begin the week of March 8th OR March 15th depending on team designation. Teams will participate in weekend tournaments from April – June (with some older teams beginning in March and ending in July)
Club Fit, PDHoops and Life Thru Hoops are monitoring the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak very closely and following the guidance recommended by our government, the CDC and health officials. We are taking a proactive approach and reminding all our coaches to adhere to hygiene protocols and best practices in and outside the club. The health and safety of our players, coaches and parents is our number one priority.

Q: When is the season? How many games and where are they played?
A: Most teams will be practicing Mid March – ending some time in June with some of our older teams playing into July. Games are played on Saturdays and Sundays normally
Q: What is the commitment?
A: Teams practice once or twice each week and play on weekends.
Q: What is the cost?
A: The fee schedule varies based on what team the player is assigned to. The fee ranges from approximately $600 to $800 for most teams with our older teams that travel more costing more.
Q: Is there a refund policy?
A: There are no refunds. We, however, will provide a credit toward next year’s fee in the event of an injury resulting in the player missing four or more tournaments. Medical documentation will be required. If a player quits a team, there will be no refund.
Q: Is there a minimum playing time policy?
A: Each player will play each game, playing time however is not equal.
Q: Where are the practices held?
A: Most if not all practices will be held at Club Fit Briarcliff.
Q: When will I find out if I made the team?
A: Coaches will contact the parents via email within 1 week of the tryout date.
Q: What happens if I do not make a team?
A: We offer clinics and camps to help the player.
Q: How many practices per week?
A: Most coaches practice once or twice a week.
Q: When are AAU games?
A: All games are played on the weekends on both Saturday and Sunday.
Q: What time are the games?
A: All games vary anywhere from morning to evening.
Q: When will we have a schedule for the different tournaments?
A: Your coach will provide all once he finalizes his/her team.
Q: When will we know game times?
A: You will receive a schedule from your coach by the Thursday before that weekend of play
