Seniors – Building Better Bones with Pilates

From a Pilates stabilized posture, build stronger bones while working functionally with light weights, resistant bands, and a variety of props.

Learn proper standing and floor exercise for strong, healthy hips, gluteal and muscles of the leg, to help maintain functional balance along with core muscles. Emphasis will also be placed on improving stability, mobility, posture and strengthening/lengthening of the muscular skeletal system.

Physiological changes due to aging will be discussed, including loss of depth perception, proprioception, and osteoporosis.
