7-Week Session Runs:
July 10th – August 25th
This class is designated for triathletes and open water swimmers who are either training for a specific competitive distance or who are looking to train to improve their ability for competitive swimming competitions. Classes will challenge individual athletes to improve their endurance and speed over longer distances and provide individualized instruction for more efficient stroke technique and kick. Athletes can expected a rigorous workout each session coached by an experienced swimmer and coach with over twenty years’ experience. Triathletes will be provided with a workouts (to be implemented at the aquatics facility outside of class) that are coauthored by the triathlete and coach based on the target swimming distance for a future triathlon or open water swim.
Prerequisite: Triathlete and open water swimmers are experienced swimmers who have knowledge and experience as both competitive swimmers in pools, as well as experience in triathlon and/or open water swimming competitions.
Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7:30 – 9:00 pm in the Lap Pool
