Designed to meet the special needs of persons undergoing and recovering from Cancer treatment.
According to The American Cancer Society, there are many reasons for being physically active during your cancer treatment, but each person’s exercise program should be based on what’s safe and what works best for them. It should also be something you like doing. Your exercise plan should take into account any exercise program you already follow, what you can do now and any physical problems or limitations you may have. For more information, visit their website at www.cancer.org.
At Club Fit we have a few options:
- For both clubs, we encourage our friends and family going through cancer treatment to take advantage of a free HealthyRx This is a 90-day membership with extra guidance from our fitness staff and your medical team. Visit our HelpRx page at clubfit.com to see if this is the right solution for you.
- We have a personal trainer on staff at our Briarcliff location with additional certification from American Council on Exercise to provide a personal program for each participant. Master Trainer, Sean Fewer, is a certified Cancer Exercise Specialist. Sean uses the most up to date exercise protocol s to help clients regain their strength and reach even higher goals. He will develop a safe and individualized exercise program that will empower cancer survivors to improve their overall health. Contact Donna at firstname.lastname@example.org new email
