This trail, formally known as the Taconic Bridges Trail, links 3 parks. The trail starts near the Yorktown Community Dog Park, goes through the Granite Knolls Sports Complex, crosses over the Taconic State Parkway and ends at the Woodlands Legacy Ball Fields. The inclines are moderate, but there are several and the hike is long. We shall pass the giant boulder in Granite Knolls on the way back. We will have a snack at the end of the trail in Woodlands Legacy, but lunch back at Granite Knolls under the pavilion near the pickleball courts.
Meeting time: 9:00 AM
Meeting place: Parking lot at end of Morris Lane. Enter “Yorktown Community Dog Park” in to GPS for directions. Morris Lane goes from Lexington Avenue to a parking lot at the trailhead.
