Our walk will start from under the southbound Taconic State Parkway and we will walk next to the Croton Reservoir to the Croton Dam. We will pass a few small creeks that feed in to the reservoir. We will be walking along Croton Lake Road to Croton Dam Road.

Lunch will be taken at the top of the dam with time for pictures.

Please dress warmly as the wind coming off the reservoir can be strong. Please wear comfortable shoes, hiking boots are not necessary. The walk is flat, but it is 6 miles.

Meeting time: 9:00 AM, Saturday, March 28th

Directions: Starting from Nadine’s Restaurant, 715 Saw Mill River Road (NY 118), Yorktown Heights, NY 10598, go left, (west), .8 miles to the next left, (through the light on to NY 129). Bear left and go over the metal grated bridge over the reservoir. At the stop sign make a right. In .6 miles, at a T intersection, make a right to stay next to the reservoir . The highway will be overhead in .6 miles, park.

Please drive slowly next to the reservoir, this is a popular jogging route
