Bring lunch and water
This hike will start on South Mountain Pass Road and go up to Anthony’s Nose to one of the best views in the Hudson Valley. We will take lunch at the top with a view of Bear Mountain, the Hudson River and the Bear Mountain Bridge. There are some long inclines, some of which are very briefly steep.
The trails are rocky and hiking boots will be required
South Mountain Pass Road is a narrow, dirt road with the parking area and trailhead on the south side of the road.

Michael has been hiking trails in the Hudson Valley since he was a young boy. He has been hiking with the hiking club for the past 10 years. Michael is Red Cross certified in adult first aid/CPR/AED and has been living in Yorktown since 1996 with his daughters.
