“A hike through a nature sanctuary and swamp”
The Pruyn Sanctuary is part of the Saw Mill River Audubon Society’s reservations. It is off Millwood Road/NY 133 The trails wind through the sanctuary and have moderate inclines and are narrow. There are a number of boardwalks that go through the swamp and wetlands making for beautiful scenery. Hiking boots are recommended. Insect repellant is highly recommended as this is a very wet area and home to mosquitoes .
We will have a snack next to the other entrance.

Michael has been hiking trails in the Hudson Valley since he was a young boy. He has been hiking with the hiking club for the past 10 years. Michael is Red Cross certified in adult first aid/CPR/AED and has been living in Yorktown since 1996 with his daughters.
