REGISTERED DIETITIAN NUTRITIONIST
Alicia is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Whether it’s kicking your booty in the gym or whipping you in shape in the kitchen, Alicia knows how to get people to see serious results! She acquired her Personal Training certification in 2014 and has been working at Club Fit for almost two years now, which she enjoys immensely. Pushing people to their limits is something she constantly strives for with her clients and the classes that she teaches. She obtained her BS in Health Science Studies with a double minor in Psychology and Spanish from Quinnipiac University in 2014. And yes…she’s bilingual too! She studied abroad in Spain for a semester on top of taking Spanish classes in school for seven years. She received her MS degree at Hunter College in 2017 in Nutrition and Dietetics and had a lot of opportunities to get experience in the field. She spent time volunteering at The Field Home and at Office for the Aging in Westchester County. During her dietetic internship, she worked for Family Cook Productions, Westchester Community Opportunity Program (Head Start), Somers Manor Nursing Home, and Greenwich Hospital. She has experience working with children on the spectrum, bariatric patients, acute care patients, underprivileged populations, the elderly, college students, and adults struggling with weight loss/gain. Her passion lies in providing people with overall nutrition and exercise plans to improve their overall health and reach their personal goals. Aside from her time dedicated towards her career, Alicia loves cooking, baking, exercising, hiking, practicing Spanish, creative writing, jamming out to country and pop/rock/alternative 90s/2000s music, singing, doodling, and watching Netflix — of course — because who doesn’t?!
