Laurice (Lauri) D. Nemetz, MA, BC-DMT, E-RYT500, CIAYT, Yoga Alliance Provider, LCAT
Lauri is a certified and registered experienced-level yoga teacher, a board-certified dance/movement therapist and a licensed creative arts therapist as well as a Stott ® Pilates instructor in mat work and reformer. She is an adjunct professor at Pace University, Ananda Ashram’s anatomy faculty, as well as an associate teacher world-wide for Tom Myers’ Anatomy Trains ® workshops. She is past President of YTA (Yoga Teachers Association) In addition to teaching, Lauri leads yoga and kayaking trips on the Hudson River, in Canada and Costa Rica and is the author of several articles and book chapters and is writing an upcoming book for Handspring Publishing on Myofascial Anatomy and Movement. She specializes in making yoga accessible and welcoming at all levels and when not working out inside can be found outside on the local trails and Hudson River. Her philosophy is to work resiliency into the body so we can enjoy everything that comes our way!
