In addition to registering with us please go the Lakeland School District web page
And complete the Alternate Site Form, marking at the top of the page Attn: Paul.
If your child is not going to be coming to the after-school program, please call the Energy Center at 914-250-2731 to let us know. We follow the Lakeland school calendar and have programs for scheduled days off.
School’s Out Days: If there is no school for Lakeland—and it is on the district calendar—we will run a School’s Out Camp which runs from 9:30 am–3:30 pm. Early drop is available starting at 8:00am. The child will have a day of sports, games, swimming, and crafts throughout the day. School’s Out Days participants then have the additional 3 hours for late pick-up and need to be picked up by 6:00 pm at the latest. These days require separate registration and payment.
Early Dismissals: If there is an early dismissal due to snow, LAKELAND children will be bussed to Club Fit since it is their primary bus stop. We ask parents to be prepared to pick up their children from our after school program at Club Fit an hour and a half after school closure. If you work a distance over that time limit or feel you will not be able to abide by this request please have an alternate pick up person available to pick up your child. Your child’s safety is of upmost importance to us. Thank you for understanding.
Snack: Children are allowed to bring OR buy snack. You can allow your child to use the House Charge* account, which is an account linked to the account holder’s credit card. Another option is an account called e-Cash (set up is with member services) which acts as an electronic gift card that the snack gets deducted from each visit. Please do NOT send your child with cash. We ask to avoid snacks with peanuts or any nuts since there are so many allergies. *(Please inform our staff if you do NOT want your child to have access to your House Charge account.)
