Deep water class is a non-impact cardio workout that strengthens muscles and builds endurance without stress on the joints. The exerciser will use the upper arms significantly more when traveling, and can improve core strength and balance as there is no floor to push off of or to signal the brain of body’s position in space. Flotation belts are worn throughout the class.
