In a small group setting with individualized attention, breathe, control your joints and develop optimal strategies to strength train safely and effectively.
Sessions will cover the basics of optimal breathing, how to activate deep muscles that stabilize the joints, and how to properly transfer these principles. Participants will perform functional exercises, including squats, lunges, pushing and pulling that are the building blocks for everyday movement tasks. By breathing properly, aligning with appropriate exercise progression you will get stronger in a safe way.
The class will be taught by Andrea Klekman, Integrative Movement Specialist (TM). “My goal is to help participants to develop a more optimal movement strategy so that functional strength will be developed, and participants can do the things they need, want and love to do.”
Recommended for seniors, those new to exercise, or anyone who wants to improve fitness in a safe, effective manner.
