January 7th – February 17th
Infants and toddlers ages 6 months – 3 years will enjoy exploring water activities that promote the development of arm and leg movements as well as breath control. Basic swimming and safety skills are taught.
A parent or caregiver is in the water for part of each class, acting as a co-instructor. The goal is to build confidence to ease transition into independent lessons, while serving as a parent and child bonding experience.
Students will be introduced to floating on their backs and front, jumping in unsupported and submerging. Children will be given toys as well as singing songs and other activities.
Children MUST wear swim diapers underneath their bathing suits. For your convenience, swim diapers, goggles, swim caps and ear plugs can be purchased at the Reception Desk.
