For absolute beginners, Yoga 101 will take anyone new to yoga through a series of basic yoga postures that will prepare the body to take general yoga classes in the future. These yoga classes will have a unique focus on safety and emphasis on posture alignment in a way that will not create stress on the body. It’s a practice that is safe for all yoga practitioners with special attention given to those who have never practiced yoga before.
Instructor Diana Morgan, OTR/L, RYT, is a licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist and 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher that has been working with children for over 35 years. She discovered yoga 8 years ago after open heart surgery by Dr. Oz. Her teaching and continuing education/training incorporate her love of yoga, with the healing, strengthening, lengthening & relaxation practice of yoga to bring balance and fun to daily life.
