This state park in Montrose is next to the Hudson River. The trail we will take will have some short, steep inclines which will offer excellent views of the Hudson River and Rockland County. The trail also goes through wetlands and past 2 enclosed ponds that are home to a diverse group of wildlife.
Hiking boots and insect repellant are recommended

Michael has been hiking trails in the Hudson Valley since he was a young boy. He has been hiking with the hiking club for the past 10 years. Michael is Red Cross certified in adult first aid/CPR/AED and has been living in Yorktown since 1996 with his daughters.
