Personal Training
Meet our highly qualified team of trainers and nutrition experts available to provide expert coaching and education by appointment for training individually or with a small group of similar fitness goal people.
There’s tons of information and programs designed by professionals available online to help you get in shape, but it can be a smart investment in your health to take a more personalized approach. Hiring a personal trainer at Club Fit is an excellent option!
The professionally designed program your trainer creates will be focused on your fitness level, areas of interest and goals. You’re less likely to bail on your workout when a professional holds you accountable, and a trainer gives you that extra push out the door when you’re trying to decide whether or not to do your workout.
Still not convinced? Here are a few other benefits of working with a personal trainer at Club Fit:
Motivation – Get the encouragement, energy and motivation you need to jumpstart your routine
Confidence – Allows you to become confident with how to perform exercises, use machines and navigate through the facility
Consistency – Helps you overcome all the excuses you might use to avoid your commitment to exercise
Injury prevention – Taking the time to learn proper exercise technique can improve your results and prevent annoying injuries
Fun – Our personal trainers make exercise both effective and fun
At Club Fit our Personal Trainers are certified by at least one nationally accredited fitness organization and hold college degrees in physical education or exercise-related fields. Our partnership with NASM/AFAA ensures our trainers continue learning the latest exercise protocols and recommendations. We will make sure your trainer is well matched to your goals and fitness experience.

Denise’s Philosophy of Exercise:
Bodies come in all shapes and sizes; we are not “one size fits all.” A willingness to work with a positive attitude towards one’s fitness goals is everything. “I can’t,” negates success. To borrow a phrase from one of my favorite childhood books, The Little Engine That Could, “ I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.” That’s the attitude I strive for personally and strive to instill in my clients.

I have been in and around training and weight rooms since I was about five years old, and it has been part of my life ever since. I’ve been working in this capacity for almost two decades and it’s still fun and exciting to work with athletes trying to reach new goals. Every day, I see athletes that bring new challenges to work through and it motivates me to continue to improve myself as an athlete and trainer. I have worked with every level of athletes from youth athletes to Division I National Champions to adults looking to hold on to their childhood a little longer (the category I am firmly planted in). The one constant is, as long as the effort is there from both sides, eventually we will have success together.

Greg’s Training Philosophy:
The most important lessons I have learned about life, and about myself, have come when I was drenched in sweat and gasping for air. Whether you are a child or an adult, a Coach can have a profound and positive impact on your life. I want every individual I work with to believe they are a better person and athlete due tp physical challenges they have overcome in their training sessions.

Fitness is more than lifting heavy weights multiple times or being able to run a marathon. To me, fitness is our understanding of “balance” in its entirety. Yes, you will be exposed to strength and cardiovascular training in a gym environment. However, you will also learn to manage your time and push yourself through stress… both extremely valuable skills to build throughout our lives. I believe that the sense of community in a gym can be beneficial in helping us develop these skills and accomplish our goals. My background consists of research in the field of human biomechanics. I am fascinated by the relationship of all of the components of our body. One small change at our hips, for example, can completely change our movement mechanics, improve posture, or reduce back pain. I have conducted research in engineering relating to ankle/knee injuries along with spinal implants. I hope to innovate in the field of exercise science by designing new equipment or new exercise methodologies that can be tailored to more diverse populations. The motto I live by is to always push to be the best version of yourself. Let’s continue to get better every day together!

Through darkness there is Light and wisdom. Like the resistance and force put upon your muscles, the resistance and force put upon your life is where growth occurs. Physical strength can only get you so far. Mental strength is the separator… in athletics and in life.
In my life, amid darkness and now in Light, I have learned a lot about the mind, body and spirit. Yet, with all that I’ve learned, there is still SO much more to discover. The pursuit of knowledge and wisdom in the form of “driven contentment” is exciting to me.
Exercise is one of my favorite analogies of life. Like growth in life, growth in the gym will get uncomfortable at times. Anything worth fighting for has its challenges. There are peaks and valleys. But the rewards are far greater than the pain, if you’re able to endure and not give up.
I am eager to share with you what I’ve learned and help you break barriers… mentally, physically and spiritually. 3 in 1 is where the power is.
