Our Aquatics Center features two large indoor swimming pools: a cooler Lap Pool for lap swimming and training, and a warmer Program Pool for lessons, aquatic classes and family swimming. We also have a whirlpool for members and guests age 18 and over.

Our cooler Lap Pool is designed for lap swimming and training, while the warmer Program Pool is used primarily for swim lessons, aquatic classes and family swimming. The Program Pool also includes a zero-entry area that is perfect for our littlest swimmers.

Jump Right In

The Aquatics Center.

The zero entry section of the pool is the perfect place for our littlest swimmers to play. The whirlpool is for members and guests age 18 and over.

Our water is kept clean and safe using an innovative mixed-oxidant disinfectant system. Our water will feel gentler on your skin. Make sure your whole family practices water safety. We have lessons for 6 month olds through adults. All our swim instruction is American Red Cross certified.

I have been coaching swimming for 6+ years, teaching for over 15 years. I am the Director of Aquatics, a USA Swim Coach, a WSI, and a Lifeguard Instructor. I teach all levels from newborn to competitive swimmer as well as Triathlete training. I am patient with all my clients and get the best out of them to reach their full potential.

Bill Mentz

Bill is certified a certified Lifeguard Instructor, Water Safety Instructor and also maintains a Certified Pool Operator’s License. He has been a WSI at Club Fit since 2003. He is a retired Clarkstown North English teacher and former English Department Chair at Soundview Prep in Yorktown Heights. During the summers he is currently one of the Directors at Manursing Island Club in Rye.

I’m a Colombian native and a graduate in Architectural Drawing. As my background as coach, I’m a former triathlete. I became a USA Triathlon endurance and a USA Cycling coach about 7 years ago. When I’m not coaching, I spend my time working as a Real Estate Agent. I currently coach endurance swimming at Club Fit. I would like to bring my personal experience as an athlete to help you improve your technique and with time make you a faster and better swimmer.

Mike Simonson

Swimming has been a passion of Mike’s since he was very young. Mike trained and competed year round in both private swim teams and the Town of Cortlandt swim team. He set records for his competitive teams for butterfly and breast strokes. Mike believes that any skill can be mastered by taking the skill one small step at a time.

Elizabeth is joining Club Fit as a swim instructor. She is a longtime swimmer and swim instructor and swim coach. After many years in the advertising industry, she is putting her effort to teaching swimming so adults and children can safely enjoy the water!

Thomas Neal

Thomas is joining Club Fit in the aquatics department as an instructor. He has worked at other facilities for around 3 years although only recently became an instructor. Throughout the Summer he was averaging working with large group lessons with about 14 kids in the group followed by 6 private lessons.  He loves what he does and is very excited to be given an opportunity to teach again.

Heather Brewster

Heather is a seasoned Swimming Instructor with a B.S. in Physical Education from S.U.N.Y. Cortland and over 40 years of experience teaching swimmers of all ages—from infants as young as six months to older adults. She is passionate about fostering strong swim skills and promoting water safety, and she brings that dedication to every class she teaches at Club Fit.

Russell Broderick joins the BR Aquatics team with over 15 years of experience in the aquatics industry. Known for his enthusiastic and engaging teaching style, Russell has provided swim instruction throughout Westchester County and has helped countless students develop confidence and skills in the water. He is excited to bring his passion, expertise, and energy to Club Fit
