One of the newest trails in the area, the Mohansic Trailway starts at NY 118 and Downing Street, crosses 118 and Baldwin Road and goes in to FDR Park. The hike goes over an old railroad bed, 2 streams, a small pond and passes the lake in FDR. We will stop for lunch at the ruins of the old Civilian Conservation Corp. in FDR Park. We will meet outside Dunkin’ Donuts, 380 Downing Drive, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598

Michael has been hiking trails in the Hudson Valley since he was a young boy. He has been hiking with the hiking club for the past 10 years. Michael is Red Cross certified in adult first aid/CPR/AED and has been living in Yorktown since 1996 with his daughters.
