This Privacy Policy describes the manner in which Club Fit Jefferson Valley and Club Fit Briarcliff (collectively “Club Fit”, “we” or “us”), the owners of the website, including the subdomains and (the “Site”), collect, use, store, share and protect information acquired from visitors to the Site. This Privacy Policy also applies when you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services such as Facebook, if those applications or advertising include links to this Privacy Policy, and to email communications with Club Fit personnel. It does not apply to information we collect offline or through any other means. Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding visitor information and how we treat it. By accessing and using the Site, you consent to the treatment of your information in the manner described below. If you do not consent to the treatment of your information as described below, please do not use the Site.

Information Club Fit Collects and How We Collect It

We collect information from visitors when they complete a form or otherwise communicate directly with us through the Site. We employ trusted third party providers to collect and analyze information from all visitors automatically as they navigate the Site.

Information Visitors Expressly Provide to Club Fit

Information we collect includes information visitors provide when they register or complete the “contact us” form, donation form, party request form or other forms on the Site. It includes information by which visitors may be personally identified, such as name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number. It also includes information such as search queries, survey responses, blog and other postings and other information communicated to Club Fit staff in emails or otherwise through the Site.

Information Collected Automatically

As visitors navigate through and interact with our Site, our vendor uses automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about their browsing actions and patterns, including traffic data, location data, logs and other communication data and data concerning the resources that visitors access and use on the Site. Our vendor also may use automatic data technologies to collect information about visitor online activities over time and across third-party websites or other online services. The information we collect automatically is statistical data and does not include personal information, but we may maintain it or associate it with personal information we collect in other ways or receive from third parties. This helps us to improve our Site and to deliver a better and more personalized service, including by enabling us to estimate our audience size and usage patterns, store information about user preferences, speed up searches, and recognize visitors when they return to the Site.

We use the information we gather, including personal information, solely to provide Club Fit services, suggest Club Fit activities, provide member assistance and support, communicate promotional offers, distribute newsletters and improve the Site. We may also access and use your information to compare information for accuracy and verify it with third parties or to comply with applicable law or legal process. You can choose to stop receiving promotional emails at any time by changing your preferences or using an email’s unsubscribe function. You may not opt out of receiving administrative messages or customer service responses.

How We Share User Information

We do not sell, rent or lease visitor information to others. We share visitor information only in the following ways:

  • On an as needed basis with third parties we employ to perform certain tasks on the Site.  These are trusted partners that we rely on to maintain the safety and security of the Site and your information.

  • If we are required by law or legal process to provide your information to law enforcement or a third party.

  • If we are involved in a business transfer (merger, acquisition, combination or sale of any or all of our assets), your information may be transferred.

Credit Card Information

We do not receive or store credit card information from non-members in any way on the Site. Club members who are registered users may log in to their account and update their credit card information using the Site. Members who arrange for services using the Site will have their credit charged the same way we charge credit cards for in-club services.

Managing Your Information

Security and Retention

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information or other information. We encrypt communications between our servers and your browser after login only. Our encryption is not SSL compliant.

We retain information as long as it is necessary and/or relevant for our operations. In addition, we may retain personal information from closed accounts to comply with the law, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigation and take other actions permitted or required by law.

Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect information online from children under the age of 13.  We do not target our services to children under 13, nor will we ever knowingly communicate online with children under 13. Do Not Track Signals

Your web browser may enable you to signal whether you wish to allow websites to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites or online services. There is currently no consistent industry standard for how to interpret and respond to such signals. At this time our Site does not respond to do not track signals, and we collect personal information in the manner described in this Privacy Policy from all visitors.
