Member Spotlight: Stacey Winnick
May 2025
At Club Fit, our members are the heart of our community—and few embody our spirit quite like Stacey. Her journey is as inspiring as it is motivating, reminding us all of the power of perseverance and support.
Rising to the Challenge
In September, Stacey embarked on a personal swimming challenge in honor of cancer awareness. Her goal? Swim 5 miles. Despite a rib injury that forced her to scale back, she pushed forward and completed an incredible 2.5 miles in the pool.
“I told every lifeguard, and they all cheered me on!” Stacey recalls. “That kind of support makes all the difference.”
Finding Her Fitness Home
Before Club Fit, Stacey tried it all—private classes, small gyms, and countless programs—but never quite found the right fit. That all changed when she joined Club Fit.
“It’s all in one place, just five minutes from my house. The classes, the teachers, the community – it’s everything.”
Strong, Consistent, and Motivated
Today, Stacey’s routine is stronger than ever. She swims 10 laps, four days a week, trains personally with Johnny Lopez, and regularly attends classes with: Leslie (Pilates), Marisa (MELT), Violetta (CFX), Annie, Stevie – “He’s so motivating!”
A Cherished Memory
One moment Stacey will never forget? Being in Denise Webber’s yoga class the very morning she gave birth to her son—over 20 years ago. Talk about full-circle wellness!
A Community That Cares
What keeps Stacey coming back?
“The front desk knows my name when I walk in – that sets the tone for my whole day,” she says. “They’re helpful, kind, and truly care about my success. I love Club Fit.”
